Summerlee is the original homestead of Cape Kidnappers Station, renovated in 2017 and set in 10 acres of gardens with wide views over the Hawke's Bay coastline. Guests have exclusive use of the house and grounds.
A fully hosted stay means you don't lift a finger. A dedicated host looks after your days, private chefs cook breakfast and a three-course dinner in the house, and housekeeping keeps everything in order. It is a more private alternative to a traditional lodge, with the space and service of your own home.

Fly into Auckland, then take a one-hour domestic flight to Napier. Summerlee is a 30-minute drive from Napier Airport, and we can arrange your transfer. Guests arriving by helicopter can land on the estate.
We recommend at least three nights to enjoy both the estate and the region.

Summerlee sleeps up to 12 guests in six main bedrooms: four king bedrooms with ensuites, one king bedroom with its own bathroom and one queen bedroom with an ensuite. Three single bedrooms take the house to a maximum of 15 guests.
